The doorstep banking services are delivered by dak sevaks in urban as well as rural areas which means citizens won’t have to travel long distances to deposit or withdraw money. Its benefits include banking facilities at home, easy and convenient banking, instant account opening and simple, secure and hassle-free banking.
Given below are Doorstep banking charges-
The customer on-boarding for doorstep banking is free. People do not have to pay any charges for it. Along with this, one doesn’t have to pay anything for balance enquiry and mini statement which are non-cash based non-financial transactions.
For cash-based transactions such as for cash deposit and withdrawal of more than Rs 2,001, Rs 15 per visit will be charged. For the amount between Rs 2,001 to Rs 5,000, people have to pay Rs 25 per visit. However, for cash transactions between Rs 5,001 to Rs 10,000, Rs 35 per visit will be charged. It may be noted that cash transactions for the amount above Rs 10,000 are not offered at the doorstep. For remittance, which is a non-cash based financial transaction, Rs 10 per visit will be charged. In the case of digital transaction, which are other than cash deposits and withdrawals, Rs 15 per transaction is charged.

You will require to confirm your visit details to IPPB’s representative. In order to enjoy the doorstep services, you will need to provide your account number, mobile number, or show your QR card to the doorstep representative.
IPPB’s doorstep banking also provides third-party services such as insurance, loans, investments and payments facility of DoP products.
